Our Programs

HIGHBAR Foundations
HIGHBAR foundations program is mandatory for those new to functional training and barbell movements. Over the course of 2 weeks (6 classes: Monday, Wednesday, Friday) you will be taught our seven core barbell movements as well as our metabolic conditioning movements which will give you the knowledge, understanding, and practical application of these training tools to effectively transition to our crossfit program. You will be educated on our model of coaching as well as guided on how to effectively use this program to “ramp-up” your current level of fitness throughout the foundations period and carrying over into the crossfit program. This program is essential to building the foundation of safe technique to preserve the longevity of your body’s health and fitness!

HIGHBAR Strength and Conditioning
Our strength and conditioning program here is for both advanced and beginning trainees. This program is intended for extremely dedicated middle school, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes that are ready to take their performance to the next level. Each individual athlete will be put on a periodized training program based on their competitive sport. Pre-season, during season, post season, and off-season training will be included in each athlete’s precise 52 week training program. HIGHBAR

S&C begins with an evaluation of functional movement, various testing, and a short preparatory phase to ready the body for the rigors that lie ahead. It is designed to take your training to the next level and maximize your body’s performance in your current or prospective sport. This is a dedicated program!

Attn. high school athletes: This is not like your current sports team lifting sessions. This program is designed on a case by case basis according to your needs as an individual athlete and will take your performance to the next level if fully committed.

HIGHBAR Kids Fitness
Our HIGHBAR Kids fitness program is geared towards improving and developing a broad range of athletic skills and abilities. We base the training around the principle of long term athlete development (LTAD). The program is specifically designed to improve and develop coordination (hand to eye, hand to foot, audible reaction/focus, visual reaction/focus), bodyweight strength, speed, agility, plyometric ability (explosiveness), core stability, balance, and stamina. Every training session typically will include each one of these skills worked on in an isolated fashion one after the other. This is done to preserve the development and practice of each skill to produce maximum development. We make everything as FUN as possible to keep the kids interested and wanting to come back! Our main goals with the development of this program is to develop a habit and lifestyle of health and fitness at a young age, improve performance in their current sport or activity, and to train our kids to be masters of all athletic abilities in order to give them the capability to choose whichever sport they may love rather than being held back from this due to lack of ability.
